This size is commonly used on Dellorto carburetors, where the vent hose runs from one side of the carburetor to the other.

In racing karting, proper carburetor venting is critical for stable performance. Using the correct hose size ensures proper pressure equalization and reliable operation.

Important Installation Note

When installing the vent hose:

 A small air hole must be made at the highest point of the hose.

This allows the carburetor to function correctly.

If a completely sealed hose is installed without a vent hole, the carburetor cannot equalize pressure properly, which may cause mixture issues and unstable engine performance.
